Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Law

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and competency
Key Requirements
-Valid registration/status with the Ordem dos Advogados de Moçambique (OAM);
-Minimum 5 years of full-time litigation practice;
-Strong and proven courtroom/litigation experience, with the ability to independently handle complex civil and commercial cases throughout the full litigation cycle;
-Strong knowledge of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Mining Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law and Labor Law;
-Practical experience in disputes involving mining operations, investment and financing, international trade, fuel/truck procurement and labor matters;
-Strong capability in litigation strategy, evidence analysis, legal drafting, risk identification and practical problem-solving;
-Ability to participate in major business negotiations and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to Management, HR and Operations;
-Experience in selecting, coordinating and evaluating external law firms will be an advantage;
-Good English communication and Legal English capability are required, as English is one of the working languages of Client!
NB: We are giving priority to candidates with strong practical litigation and courtroom experience, rather than profiles mainly based on academic or theoretical legal knowledge.
