Electromechanical Technician
Description
The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems used across project facilities and infrastructure. The role supports the safe and reliable operation of equipment by performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, monitoring asset integrity, and ensuring compliance with project procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults, implementing effective corrective actions.
- Install, test, commission, and repair equipment in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine inspections to ensure operational reliability and integrity.
- Assist in equipment startup, shutdown, and operational activities when required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Participate in equipment condition assessments and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical equipment and systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Familiarity with equipment operation, integrity monitoring, and operational performance assessment.
- Proven ability to diagnose faults and perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Experience in industrial equipment operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of SCADA system operation will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working in industrial, utilities, or construction environments will be considered an advantage.
