We’re hiring – Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
Duty Location -Beira, Sofala, Mozambique
Outline of Duties & Responsibilities:
*Helping the team understand performance targets and goals;
* Training or ensuring that workers are properly trained for their specific roles;
* Scheduling work hours and shifts;
* Coordinating job rotation and cross-training;
* Sharing company updates, financial results, and new objectives with team members;
* Assisting in resolving emergencies, such as a quality or customer problem that might be escalated to the team supervisor for handling;
* Identifying and resolving workplace problems, including tardiness or absenteeism;
* Providing reports and activity updates to the Group Projects and Facilities Manager;
* Assisting in hiring and firing activities, a supervisor often requires the managerial approval of all new hires or terminations.
* Keep accurate records;
* Reviews plans, blueprints, and specifications for central electrical systems to understand scope of projects and to recommend potential changes to the Group Projects & Facilities Manager;
* Answers trouble calls for emergency repairs to central electrical system equipment;
* Maintains electrical systems hand and power tools and equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation;
* May assist in preparing material lists, estimating job costs, preparing job records, and maintaining an inventory of supplies, work material, and tools for assigned area/projects;
* May assist in planning and developing modifications to central electrical systems;
* Repairs and maintains testing equipment and instruments;
* Performs related work as required;

Hard Skills-background/technical competencies
*Tertiary qualification, Degree in Civil and Transport Engineering, certificates;
Experience in maintenance related work-fundamentals in project management, earthworks, weighbridges, water/power systems reticulation;
*Driver’s license;
*Age (minimum / maximum): 23-40;
*Time availability: Must be available to work until the Job is done;
