The Role
You will be the engine behind our “50% faster crossings” promise in Mozambique. You will coordinate with fleet operators, customs brokers, and authorities to ensure flawless, digital pre-clearance and rapid transit.
Key Responsibilities
Clearance Operations: Coordinate digital pre-clearance for trucks across key Mozambican borders (Machipanda, Ressano Garcia, Zóbue).
Compliance: Verify customs documentation and transit bonds via JUE (Janela Única Eletrónica) before trucks hit the border.
Digital Payments: Execute cashless border, toll, and port fee settlements via the Mamastops platform.
Bottleneck Resolution: Maintain strong ties with Alfandegas (Customs) and clearing agents to resolve delays instantly.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 3+ years in Mozambique customs clearing, freight forwarding, or cross-border logistics.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of JUE, Mozambican transit regulations, and SADC frameworks.
Languages: Fluent in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
Traits: Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
